    @smcnallen hello there steve
I am a Norse born follower of the old gods where minorities of pagans are returning. i myself am a pagan and il like to know what your opinion is towards christianity. personally i oppose it as just like islam it was spread on a sword’s edge as most people dont even know of it. For the record im not saying i hate christians but i hate those who force their religion upon others and those who are too narrow minded to face facts.

I think it’s BS that a dead pagan in the military currently has the option of the star of david,t he crucifix or the pentacle only. Any man or woman of any faith who serves our country deserves to have their own religion respected, be that faith Asatru, Druidism, Wicca, Catholocism or whatever. There is NO VALID REASON for this request to be denied to them and I am glad that activists like Steve and others are trying to fix this.

Swift are they to shrug asunder their cloak of belief when affaced with the might of my kindred. Let them see. Let them see the strength and honor flowing through my veins and my people. HAIL ODIN!

Everyone would generally prefer peace to war, unless they are mad, but sometimes it is nesessary to fight and our wariours should be honoured – both those who fell and the victorious. Everyone has some sort of war to fight whether moral, spiritual or physical and I ask Thor for protection for all aspirants to Valhalla.

    I love Mr McNallens passion

@keeelane This is not about the politics. The men doing the fighting deserve to have their religion represented when it comes to burial preferences, regardless of what the politicians are doing.

  • BandosTV said:

I personally don’t believe in “burying” the dead. Our ancestors cremated their dead on funeral pyres.

@EsLebeDeutschland855 i have a friend who’s studied icelandic and i believe old norse as well – icelandic being very close to old norse. how mr mcmillan pronounces norse just sounds like norse pronounced by an american; doesn’t sound anything like icelandic. i don’t speak icelandic myself, tho it was taught on a few lessons at school. i do speak swedish.

how do you reconcile the current ultra right wing US foreign policy and therefore military service with something that’s supposedly about honor? there is NOTHING honorable about the united states military.

Lobby for viking funerals. I want my body burned on a gigantic pyre.

I wonder if the Netherlands were heavily Germanic? Asatru is the religion of the Germanic people in any case, not just the “Norsemen”.

Thanks for dropping by! I served honorably in the US Army for four years, and spent a decade in an Army National Guard Infantry unit. I’ve done most of the Infantry jobs from squad leader to platoon leader (been an NCO and officer, obviously). I wore jump wings and a Ranger tab. Uncle Sam never sent me onto a battlefield so, technically, you’re right. I’m sorry you want to dismiss my service as inadequate. However, I fail to see what that has to do with the validity of the Hammer project.

I want to know what this guy really knows about a battle, i highly doubt hes even been in one… just saying. also im of mostly Germanic/anglo saxon descent.

Thor’s Hammer = a symbol to empower the people
the christian crucifix = a symbol to take the power of the people

may the great Hammer of Thor crush the lies of the christian cross !!

@HoundofOdin Yeah i know what you mean, same here

  • HoundofOdin said:

These kinds of videos are just a good place for people like me to voice their opinions. I don’t live around many other people of my faith, so I have to get this out of my system somehow.

  • Ulfvaldr2012 said:

@HoundofOdin I thought you where talking about Mr McNallen here, other wise what bearing does that have on this video?

  • HoundofOdin said:

No, if you’re speaking Old Norse then say it with the accent. Just don’t go around pretending to have a Viking Age accent in normal conversation. There are some people who do that and it is irritating.

  • Ulfvaldr2012 said:

@HoundofOdin So if you are speaking Norse words do you think the accent is stupid then, or should we just say them like a idiot would? I hate when people speak other languages with out the accent, now thats stupid.

  • HoundofOdin said:

You misunderstood. If someone from a place like Italy or South Dakota begins practicing Asatru, and starts talking like he or she imagines a Viking did, then that is just silly. If you are from Sweden and just have a regular Nordic accent, then fine.

  • friggasdaughter said:

I agree…we try to speak it, but use English more than not, because it is hard and does not always come out right…we acquired a german in our group, and she has been helping with our language…I hope someday we Asatru in Canada can have public lectures…man…interesting! I do appreciate Mr.McNallen, however don’t always agree with him, but he does speak well!
